| Important information | Registration is binding. However, should you be unable to participate at the last minute, please cancel by calling the Montafon Tourism Office on tel. +43 50 6686 or sending an e-mail to [email protected] so that someone else can take your place. Our hikes always include the presence of trained Montafon hiking guides. Refund in the event of cancellation by the customer: We ask for your understanding that a 5% cancellation fee will be retained in the event of cancellation of tours booked for a fee. Important note: Our BergePLUS tours take place with a minimum of three registered participants. The regular registration deadline is always the day before at 7 p.m. However, if the minimum number of three people has not been reached by 3 p.m. on the same day, the tour in question is automatically cancelled and registration is no longer possible. In this case, participants who have already booked will of course be informed by us. |

Step by step, a magnificent view of the famous Three Towers will unfold before you. Enveloped in the stillness of winter, nature reveals its mysterious side – snow-covered forests, glistening mountain peaks and the characteristic Maisäß landscapes of the Montafon. Along the way, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the terraced farming system that has shaped the lives and work of the people in the valley for centuries. Together, we’ll set off on a peaceful winter hike, keeping our eyes open for the small details and consciously experiencing winter’s natural beauty – amidst the impressive, snow-capped mountains of the Rätikon.
Meeting point: 10:00 am middle station Golmerbahn Latschau
Route: Depending on the weather and snow situation
Duration: approx. 4 hours (pure walking time: approx. 3 hours) | approx. 400 metres of elevation gain

Arrival: Why not leave your car behind? Our tours are timed to coincide with the bus timetable. You can reach the meeting point by public transport via the Latschau Golmerbahn bus stop (vmobil.at). If you’re travelling in your own car, free parking is available at the Latschau Golmerbahn car park (mid-station).
Age limit: 6 years and over
Equipment:
- Sturdy, waterproof winter or hiking boots with good tread
- Gaiters (if required)
- Several layers of warm sports clothing suitable for the weather (ideally, the outermost layer should be water-repellent: hardshell jacket, winter hiking trousers/ski or cross-country skiing trousers)
- Protection against the cold (hat/headband, thick/thin gloves)
- Sun protection (sunglasses and sun cream)
- Backpack containing a warm drink, a snack and, if required, a seat pad
- Hiking poles, if required
Hint:
- The hike will proceed no matter what the weather. In case of any changes, the participants will be informed directly by the hiking guide in good time.
- Max. number of participants per group: 10 people
- The hiking guides reserve the right to change the programme if necessary for reasons such as poor conditions, avalanche danger etc. or lack of fitness of the participants.
